Four arrested in Grafton Road burglary

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Four people are facing at least one charge apiece following a burglary on Grafton Road Tuesday morning.

The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department and West Virginia State Police worked together in the bust after stopping the suspects’ vehicle on Grafton Road following a reported burglary at a home at Stonewood Forrest developments.

Anthony Wayne Fitzgerald, 43, of Mount Storm, faces one count of burglary, but additional charges are pending. The other three people — 40-year-old Kathryn Jomarie Fitzgerald of Morgantown, 23-year-old Cory DiBartolomeo of Parsons, and 45-year-old Randy Raymond of Oakland, Maryland, are all charged with conspiracy.

Nothing was taken from the home and no injuries were reported to police, but investigators believe the suspects were looking for an individual rather than valuables.

Anyone with any information concerning this crime is asked to contact the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office at (304) 291-7260.
