Granville man accused in hospital bomb threat

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Morgantown police make an arrest after a bomb threat was called into Chestnut Ridge Hospital.

According to investigators, Benson Rogers, 42, called the hospital and “became irate while engaged in conversation with employees at the hospital”.

The Granville man allegedly “made a threat to bomb the hospital when he came in”, according to Morgantown police.

Rogers was charged with a false threat concerning bombs or other explosive devices.

Following his arraignment, Rogers was released on a personal recognizance bond.
