Hazelton inmate indicted in stabbing

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Prosecutors will move forward in a prison assault case at the U.S. penitentiary in Hazelton.
A federal grand jury returned an indictment Tuesday against Deonte Spicer.
The 28-year old is accused of stabbing another inmate multiple times during a February 2015 fight.
Spicer is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to do bodily harm. Investigators say a hand crafted a weapon was used in the altercation.
He faces another 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
