Man facing cocaine & meth charges

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Cops found him unconscious in a parking and when officers woke him up a container of cocaine fell off his lap. Now, Jon Thomas Skidmore, 33, of Bridgeport, is facing drug charges.

Officers with the Morgantown Police Department were on foot patrol in the Sabraton area around 12:30 a.m. when they observed Skidmore unconscious in a car. When they went to check on him officers saw a set of scales on the floor board. When officers woke Skidmore a container of cocaine fell off his lap. Officers recovered heroin and methamphetamine as well as $960 in cash during a follow up investigation.

Skidmore was highly intoxicated and was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital for treatment. He’s been charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine.

More charges are pending upon his release from the hospital.
