Three men arrested in Morgantown robbery

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Three Charleston men have been arrested for an armed robbery in Morgantown.

Jaymere Pratt, 19, Tyrell Davis, 20, and Jordan Kinney, 20, have each been charged with first degree robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Morgantown Police allege the three men forced their way into an apartment near the intersection of Forest Avenue and Baird Street on Monday. Once inside the victim reported to police he was held at gunpoint and forced to lie on the floor while they robbed the him.

Later in the day, Harrison County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a vehicle matching the description of the suspects headed south on Interstate 79. The three men were detained and officers found items that were stolen during the robbery in Morgantown.

All three men are being held at North Central Regional Jail.
