2 men arrested on meth charges in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Authorities in Morgantown have arrested two men in seperate incidents over the weekend for manufacturing methamphetamine.

Jared McLean, 37, of Morgantown and Anthony Anderson, 37, both of Morgantown, were arrested over the weekend.

McClean was allegedly making meth in his Woodland Terrace residence. Officers obtained a search warrant and found meth and ingredients. McLean also told police he had been cooking meth.

Anderson was arrested after officers were notified of a man looking around a residence with a flashlight. They found Anderson carrying two backpacks with supplies to make meth inside. He claimed he was just carrying the backpack and that the lab belonged to someone else.

Both men have been arraigned. Anderson’s bail was set at $50,000. McLean’s bail was set at $25,000.
