LOST CREEK, W.Va. Deputies in Harrison County have charged one with arson following an investigation into a Lost Creek structure fire.

On Monday, deputies were dispatched to a home on Orchard Street to investigate a report of a structure fire.

On the scene, deputies made contact with Randolph Murray, 54, who rented the residence and was later identified by witnesses as the person who set the fire.

The person who filed the complaint told deputies Murray was unstable and had earlier admitted to setting the fire.

Murray then admitted to the deputies that he started the fire with a lighter and some old clothes. Murray told deputies he did not want to hurt anyone.

Murray has been charged with second-degree arson and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail on a $10,000 bond.
