PLEASANT VALLEY, W.Va. The help from the town of White Hall The Valley Volunteer Fire Department has purchased an important piece of life-saving equipment.
First responders will now have a Hurst E3 battery-powered hydraulic extraction tool for use during personal injury accidents. The system is faster and safer for accident victims and firefighters.
The system includes an electric cutter, spreader, and ram with three chargers and three extra batteries.
The Valley Volunteer Fire Department is a primary responder to personal injury and property damage crashes along the I-79 corridor.
Members of the department have already conducted training with the new equipment.
