BUCKHANNON, W.Va. The Upshur County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a fugitive with Georgia connections wanted for several violations after failing to show up for a court appearance while out on bond.

George Singleton, 39, has outstanding warrants for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a concealed firearm, possession of a controlled substance, and driving revoked for a DUI offense.

Singleton is described as a white male, 5-feet 80 inches, 145 pounds, reddish-blond hair, and blue eyes.

Detectives said Singleton is known to regularly be in the areas of Upshur, Randolph, and Barbour counties in West Virginia and the Thomasville and Ochlocknee areas of Georgia.
