MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A Morgantown man has been charged after being caught in bed under the covers with a child in Monongalia County.
On March 10, deputies from the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department were called to a River Road home on a report of a sexual assault of a child in progress.
Upon arrival, deputies were told Jake Johns, 22, of Morgantown, was caught in bed and under the covers with a child in the home.
The child was examined for sexual assault and told investigators Johns exposed himself and asked the child to touch him.
Williams has pleaded not guilty to one count of sexual abuse of a child under 16-years old by parent, guardian or custodian.
