MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A Morgantown man has been charged after being caught in bed under the covers with a child in Monongalia County.

On March 10, deputies from the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department were called to a River Road home on a report of a sexual assault of a child in progress.

Upon arrival, deputies were told Jake Johns, 22, of Morgantown, was caught in bed and under the covers with a child in the home.

The child was examined for sexual assault and told investigators Johns exposed himself and asked the child to touch him.
