CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Fairmont woman will serve 10 years in prison and serve another three years of supervised release for a federal weapons violation.

Rachel Sara Hardesty, 39, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm following a home visit while she was on parole supervision in which police found a pistol, drugs, and drug paraphernalia.

Due to prior felony convictions, Hardesty is prohibited from having firearms.
