CLARKSBURG, W.Va. Less than 24-hours after the robbery of the MVB Bank on Main Street in Clarksburg police have arrested a suspect.
During a traffic stop at 10:30 Wednesday morning Clarksburg police arrested Chantal Skinner, 38, of Clarksburg for robbery of a banking institution.
Police Skinner fled the bank Tuesday with $1,147.
Skinner has confessed to the crime, according to police.
On Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Skinner is accused of entering the bank wearing a black face mask, black pants and shoes, with a firearm and ordered a teller to put the money in a bag she provided.
No injuries were reported.
