CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — One person is facing charges after allegedly setting a car on fire near a Clarksburg apartment complex Tuesday.
Clarksburg police said Sarah Dehaven, 42, intentionally set a 1999 Buick Century on fire in front of the apartment building on Maple View Drive.
The investigation determined Dehaven disbaled a “Ring” doorbell system before willfully settting the car on fire in front of the victim’s residence with the intention of destroying it.
Dehaven has been charged with third-degree arson. She is being held in North Central Regional Jail, bond has been set at $7,500.
