FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Detectives with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department have made another arrest in the Sept. 2022 murder of Henry Siler at a Carolina apartment complex by members of the Pagans Motorcycle Club.
Sheriff Jimmy Riffle reports Ryan Lane, 36, of Fairmont, has been arrested Tuesday and charged with first degree murder after detectives executed a search warrant at his home.
Pagan Motorcycle club member John Wolfe was found guilty of first degree murder in the case in April and is awaiting sentencing. Court documents said the murder was carried because Wolfe learned Silver was in a relationship with his girlfriend.
Detectives said Wolfe worked with other members of the club to carry out the killing of Silver.
Court documents said Lane and Wolfe were communicating via text message in the hours leading up to the killing. At one point, Wolfe put Lane on notice that he might bail money on the day of the killing.
Detectives had previously arrested Jonathan Biller, Derek Clem, Dane Hall, and Austin Mullins for first degree murder and conspiracy.
Lane is the sixth person arrested and Sheriff Riffle said the investigation remains active.
