MORGANTOWN, W.Va. An Independence Day traffic stop resulted in drug charges for two.
Morgantown police stopped a car driven by Robert Kilngensmith, 32, of Morgantown, for a malfunctioning brake light. When police made contact with Klingensmith and passenger Jennifer Downey, 41, of Charleston, each offered false identification.
Downey ultimately gave the police her real name and added that she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.
After a search of the vehicle, police found nearly 50 grams of methamphetamine, packaging materials, baking soda, and powdered sugar.
Both have been charged with possession with intent to deliver and are being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
