MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Morgantown Fire Marshal’s Office has begun to investigate the cause of a house fire that occurred on Pennsylvania Avenue early Thursday morning.
The fire was reported at around midnight on Thursday, when Morgantown firefighters arrived to find the house engulfed in smoke on both the first and second floors.
According to a post from the Morgantown Fire Department’s Facebook page, the structure was unoccupied when crews arrived, and the fire was extinguished with no reported injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
