MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — An investigation is ongoing into the cause of a tractor trailer accident that caused parts of Grafton Road outside of Morgantown to be closed Friday afternoon.
The accident was reported by Monongalia County Emergency Management at around 1:00 p.m. on Friday, when the tractor trailer crashed just short of the on and off ramps of I-68 by the Grafton overpass. The accident involved four vehicles including the tractor trailer and caused the Grafton overpass to be closed for about an hour, with one lane of Grafton Road closed on the southbound side.
The Morgantown Fire Department responded to the accident where three people were treated for injuries. There has been no updates on their conditions.
