CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A former Detroit resident will serve 10 years in federal prison for selling dangerous drugs in Monongalia and Taylor Counties.

A jury found Kalen Daevon Lee, 31, of Detroit, Michigan, guilty of using a motel room in Morgantown to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl. Court documents said Lee went by the alias of “Tay” and maintained a storage facility in the area as well.

Nearly two pounds of fentanyl was confiscated during the investigation.

Lee has also been ordered to four years of supervised release after serving his prison sentence.

The Mon Metro Drug and Violent Crime Task Force conducted the investigation.
