CLARKSBURG, W.Va. Three people involved in a Morgantown methamphetamine distribution have entered guilty pleas.
The most recent guilty plea came from Shakur Jones, 25, of Detroit, Michigan, who admitted to one count of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Previously, Nolan Eickleberry, 27, of Morgantown, and Dorian Myles, 26, also of Detroit, Michigan, have entered guilty pleas and are awaiting sentencing.
Jones was identified as the supplier of methamphetamine, cocaine base, and fentanyl for the drug trafficking operation that originated in Monongalia County. During a search of a home in Morgantown, police recovered more than a kilogram of methamphetamine and found a photo on his phone of 10 pounds of prepackaged methamphetamine taken two days before the search was executed.
The Mon Metro Drug and Violent Crime Task Force conducted the investigation.
