FAIRMONT, W.Va. — One person was flown from the scene of a motorcycle-car crash in the Westchester area of Fairmont Labor Day.

The accident was reported at 2:20 p.m. on Locust Avenue near the Fairmont Field Club.

Crews reported the motorcycle and car collided seriously injuring one person. The victim was flown from the scene to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Volunteer firefighters from Monongah and Valley, the Marion County Rescue Squad, and the West Virginia State Police responded to the accident.
