CLARKSBURG, W.Va. –– The four suspects charged in the February 2024 shooting of a Clarksburg have been indicted by a grand jury.

Deputies from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department found Dallion Lewis, 37, of Clarksburg, on Jack Run Road dead of gunshot wounds on Feb 21.

Dennis High, 37 of Salem, was initially charged with murder, and weeks later deputies arrested Jennifer Kirk, 48 of Clarksburg, and Kameron Griffin, 24 of Akron, Ohio, and charged each with murder. Weeks after those arrests, the deputies charged Douglas Steiner, 36, of Mt. Clare, with being an accessory after the fact to murder.

The grand jury has returned the same charges against the four defendants this week.

Kirk and Griffin were also indicted on charges of kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping. Griffin was also indicted for use of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possessing a firearm as a prohibited person.

According to court documents, Lewis was taken from his Hepzibah home on Feb. 21 and was shot multiple times before being found on Jack Run Road.

Detectives have not released any additional information about the shooting of Lewis.
