CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Morgantown man has been sentenced to nearly seven years in federal prison for possession of child pornography.
James Mansfield Davis, 67, was arrested after cyber tips about child pornography led investigators to his electronic equipment.
During a search of devices belonging to Davis, police recovered 67 videos and 460 explicit images involving young boys.
Davis fled to Florida where he was captured.
Davis has been ordered to serve 82 months in prison followed by 20 years of supervised release.
Detectives for the Morgantown Police Department and the Bridgeport Police Department investigated the case.
