MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia University Police have issued a campus warning for a domestic violence incident that occurred in the University Place parking garage located on University Avenue on September 10.
The incident did not involve university employees or students.
On Tuesday, officers arrived within minutes of the call and found the victim and suspect had fled the area separately.
UPD officers were able to interview witnesses at the scene and access surveillance that led them to identify Saquan Tyquil Moore as a suspect.
An arrest warrant for domestic violence has been issued for Moore, and police are actively searching for him.
Moore is not a WVU student or employee and, effective immediately, has been banned from WVU property.
