MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – An 18-year old St. Louis, Missouri resident has been arrested and charged in connection with a threat on the Morgantown High School last month.

The investigation began August 28 when the Morgantown Police Department learned of a social media post describing the threat of a shooting at Morgantown High School.

Detectives from the Morgantown Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Monongalia County Schools, identified and interviewed Nickolas Vadim Moore on the same day the threat was reported.

The investigation determined there was no eminient threat and the post was made from the St. Louis area and the weapons in thepost were airsoft guns.

Moore was arrested for making threats of terroristic acts September 20 by the St. Louis County Police Department and was extradited to West Virginia. On October 4, Moore was arraigned in Monongalia County Magistrate Court and released after posting a $30,000 bond.
