SHINNSTON, W.Va. — Students at the Lincoln Middle/High School in Shinnston will be off Tuesday following the sudden death of a student Friday. Samuel Flint, 17, died Friday.
Flint was a senior at Lincoln High School in Shinnston and was active in many sports. According to his obituary, Flint was active in football, basketball, wrestline, track, cross country, and enjoyed working out.
Calling hours at the Perine Funeral Home in Shiinston are Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. and the funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Officials have closed the school Tuesday to allow all students and faculty to attend.
