BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – West Virginia State Police stopped an Uber driver over the weekend in the Bridgeport area and confiscated a substantial quantity of methamphetamine.

On Sunday, troopers stopped the Uber on I-79 in the Bridgeport area and found Gregory Lindsay, of Charleston, with a backpack containing an estimated $63,000 worth of methamphetamine.

Lindsey has been charged with possession with intent to deliver.

Troopers said the investigation is active and ongoing.
