MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A 67-year old Morgantown man is facing charges after sexual misconduct was reported to state police involving two people on the autism spectrum, one a juvenile.

Oct. 21, troopers were notified when a sexual assault kit and investigation was being performed at WVU Medicine.

The victim told troopers on Oct. 20, Donald Aronhalt, reached under their shorts while playing video games. When the victim told Aronhalt to stop he pulled his hand from under the victim’s shorts and tried unsuccessfully to rip the shirt off.

Troopers then received a report from a juvenile victim Oct. 22 about additional actions by Aronhalt.

In that case Aronhalt provided an interview and said he and the victim were playing video games all night and he performed sex acts on the victim.

Aronhalt has been charged with sexual assault and sexual abuse. He is being held in the North Central Regional Jail ona $31,500 bond.
