CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Michigan resident involved in an ongoing drug conspiracy in the Morgantown area has been sentenced to serve nearly 13 years in federal prison.
Acording to court documents, Shakur Jones, 25, of Detroit, was a supplier of methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl in Monongalia County. Police were able to seize a kilogram of methamphetamine and recovered a picture from his phone shoeing a 10 pound package of methamphetamine.
Jones has been ordered to serve 151 months in federal prison and three years of supervised release after release.
Three other defendants, Nolan Eickleberry, 27, of Morgantown; John Thomas 46, of Morgantown; and Dorian Myles, 26, of Detroit, Michigan, have also pled guilty for their roles in the drug conspiracy.
Eickleberry was sentenced in August 2024 to 87 months in federal prison.
Thomas and Myles are awaiting sentencing.
