CLARKSBURG, W.Va. –– A Philadelphia man has admitted to his role in a drug operation that sent quantities of dangerous drugs to the area and could be sentenced to up to 20 years in federal prison.

Rodney Johnson, 47, admitted to supplying large amounts of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine to North Central West Virginia.

Court documents said Johnson helped transport quantities of illegal substances to Morgantown from Philadelphia.

Johnson has entered a guilty plea to seven counts in the case and could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison.

No sentencing date has been set.
