MARION COUNTY, WV – The state Department of Highways (DOH) has announced plans for night restrictions on I-79 in Marion County for lighting work.
Work operations are planned from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. on northbound I-79 from Tuesday, Dec. 3 through Thursday, December 5 between exit 132 and exit 135 for Pritchard Signal and Lighting to conduct highway lighting work.
Work operations will be performed at night and the interstate will be reopened at 4:00 a.m. each morning.
Motorists should expect minor delays and should plan ahead or find an alternate route.
Bad weather or unknown conditions could extend the work schedule.
