FAIRMONT, W.Va. — A Fairmont man found guilty in the beating murder of a Detroit resident has been sentenced to more than 85 years in prison.

Marion County Circuit Court Judge Patrick Wilson sentenced Naquan Warren to life in prison for first degree murder, 70 years for first degree robbery, 1 to 15 years for burglary, 2 to 10 years for assault during commission of a felony, and 1 to 5 years for conspiracy.

In August, a jury found Warren guilty of first degree murder and recommended no mercy.

Warren and Shekea Fox convicted of conspiring to rob Sean Gardiner, of Detroit, in October of 2022 who was known to carry large amounts of money.

Fox was sentenced to 70 years in prison for robbery, assault, and conspiracy charges.

Except for murder, Warren has been ordered to serve the sentences concurrently.
