MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia University Police has issued a campus warning after a burglary was reported near the downtown Morgantown campus.

The burglary was reported on Saturday, December 14 after one of two unidentified suspects entered into a Belmar Avenue residence through an unlocked basement window.

Photos have been released by WVU Police and investigators are currently working to determine if the reported burglary is related to two separate incidents that have taken place over the past few months.

WVU Police Chief Sherry St. Clair, UPD officers, representatives from Student Life and other University representatives will visit residences within the area of North High Street to Price Street and Prospect Street to Waverly Street starting at 4 p.m. on Monday.

Students who are not home at the time of these visits may see printed information when they arrive at their residence.
