WESTOVER, W.Va. — A Westover resident has been charged after police found an electronic device he owns that contained images portraying sexual violence against children.

Police started an investigation into Justin Weston, 41, in March when they seized the devices from a residence on Parkview Drive.

A review of those devices uncovered six images of minors that were depicted in sexual situations.

The images showed children under the age of 10-years old being assaulted by an adult male. Most of the images were of children under the age of 5 and some were as young as one year old.

Weston faces six counts of distribution depicting minors engaged in sexual activity and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail on a $60,000 bond.
