CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Deputies with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department have arrested and charged on suspect in a Christmas Eve knife attack.

Deputies found a knife outside the residence Christmas Eve and found Robert Snell, 41, of Clarksburg, in the kitchen area with blood on his pants.

Deputies said the victim, Jason Bell was located in a bedroom with two stab wounds and bleeding badly.

Bell told deputies Snell had been outside the bedroom trying to provoke a fight before the stabbing ocurred.

During an interview with deputies Snell admitted to stabbing Bell during the altercation.

Snell has been charged with malicious wounding and is being held in North Central Regional Jail.
