MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The City of Morgantown and the Engineering & Public Works Department will operate the annual Christmas tree pickup and drop-off program from December 30, 2024 through January 10, 2025.
The trees must be free of all decorations and lights to be eligible for drop-off or pickup.
Pickups will be scheduled by ward with the schedule below and there will be no pick ups on January 1.
Residents can also drop off their trees at the Municipal Garage at 200 M-Tech Drive in Morgantown through January 10. Residents are asked to drop the trees in the area to be marked by staff.
Trees will be donated to the West Virginia DNR to enhance fish habitat in Cheat Lake, Tygart Lake and Jackson’s Mill.
