FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Governor Jim Justice will deliver a $2 million check to Fairmont State University this week to fund an expansion of the Bachelor of Science in Aviation Administration program.
The grant is coming from the Economic Development Authority and will help enhance the first FAA-approved (14 CFR Part 141) flight program in the state operated from the North Central West Virginia Airport in Bridgeport.
The check presentation will be held at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, January 2 in the Feaster Center.
The Fairmont State University men’s basketball team will play Carlow University after the presentation at 2 p.m.
