Fallen powerline briefly closes I-79 in Marion County

MARION COUNTY, W.Va. — I-79 has reopened in Marion County after crews removed a powerline that had fallen across the roadway. The closure lasted for about 30 minutes at mile marker 130 until crews from Mon Power were able to repair the line. The Valley Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
