MORGANTOWN, W.Va. –– A Detroit man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in the 500 block of Brockway Avenue in November of 2023.
Melvin Garth, 28 has been charged with first degree murder and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
According to police, Richard Demoan Hall, 39, was found dead in the middle of Brockway Avenue not far from downtown Morgantown just after MECCA 911 received reports of multiple gunshots in the area.
