CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Texas man convicted of leading a Morgantown-based drug operation has been sentenced to more than 15 in federal prison.

Anthony Allen, 38, had drugs shipped to the Morgantown area from California and Texas. Investigators said Allen maintained dealer-level quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and crack cocaine.

Allen maintained a storage unit in Star City and a townhome in Morgantown where the drugs were stored and sold.

Eight people from Texas, two from California, and 13 people from the Mountain State were indicted in connection with the operation.

Allen will also serve three years of supervised released after his prison sentence has been served.
