RIVESVILLE, W.Va. — State police have charged a Rivesville man with child neglect causing injury after he fled the scene of a crash and did not seek treatment for injuries suffered in a traffic crash.

Troopers were called to the accident scene on Fairmont Road on January 15 and learned Samuel Borelli, 32, fled the scene with a child who appeared to be injured.

Witnesses told troopers the child appeared to have a cut and blood on his face.
