BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – A deadly accident involving a dirt bike is under investigation in Harrison County.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office reported a two-vehicle accident involving a dirt bike took place on Langtown Road in the Bridgeport area on Wednesday which resulted in at least one fatality.
The accident reportedly occurred at around 11:30 a.m. with the Bridgeport Fire Department, which was already on-site, advising the Harrison County 911 Center that the crash had resulted in one fatality.
The scene was reconstructed by Chief Deputy Robert Waybright of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office. At this time, the name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the family. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
