MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A Morgantown doctor has been sentenced to six months in federal prison for filing false tax returns.
Dr. David Anderson, 64, filed false tax returns that understated his taxable income and falsely claimed a business loss of $143,599 over a four year period to the Internal Revenue Service.
Anderson will also serve three years of supervised release following his prison sentence.
Anderson is listed as an emergency medical provider in Monongalia and Preston Counties.
