CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — An aide at the North View Elementary School in Clarksburg has been arrested after a juvenile was allegedly exposed to sexually explicit materials in her home in Clarksburg.

Troopers began an investigation after a domestic incident was reported at the home of Teresa Stutler, 45, of Clarksburg, November 1 when a juvenile was struck by an adult male.

During interviews with Stutler and others involved in the incident, troopers learned multiple juveniles had been struck by Stutler and others at the Clarksburg home. Stutler admitted to slapping one of the juveniles, but said she did so on the advice of a co-worker.

Troopers were also told two juveniles were chocked by an adult male while in her home. Stutler told troopers she never observed any visible injuries on the children.

During an interview at the Child Advocacy Center, another juvenile told troopers Stutler showed homemade pronographic material to them.

The juveniles also told investigators two of the juveniles had to cook for the others if they wanted something to eat and they ofter had to go find the other juveniles while at Stutler’s home because she was not watching them.

Stutler has been charged with the display of obscene material to a minor and is free on a $20,000 bond.

Stutler is currently suspended from employment at Harrison County Schools.
