MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Grafton Road/U.S. 119 in Monongalia County experienced delays south of Morgantown following a reported mortocycle wreck Tuesday afternoon.

Monongalia County Emergency Management Agency confirmed a post on their Facebook page that stated that Grafton Road was closed for close to a half hour in front of the West Virginia Division of Highways garage as a result of the wreck. MECCA 911 officials reported that the wreck was called in at around 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon with it involving a motorcycle and a passenger car. One lane reopened just after 3:36 p.m.

An investigation into the wreck is ongoing, there have been no confirmations if there were any injuries.

Crews with the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office, Mon EMS, Clinton District Volunteer Fire Department and the Triune-Halleck Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
