MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The eighth suspect involved in the February 9 attack at a downtown Morgantown pizza shop has been identified.
Travis Crutcher, 19, of Pennsylvania, has been charged with misdemeanor battery for his alleged involvement in the assault that took place at the Casa Di Amici restaurant where the victim was forced into a 9-on-1 altercation that resulted in him being robbed and being given serious injuries.
According to court documents, Crutcher, who was wearing a red, zip-up sweatshirt in video evidence, allegedly hit the victim with a closed fist in the head and jumped in the air, coming down on and striking the victim while he was laying motionless on the ground.
He joins Cameron Diggs, 18, and Keith Cushenberry, 21, both of Pennsylvania, who were revealed to have been charged with malicious assault and conspiracy to commit malicious assault earlier this week.
Daniel Hudock, 20, and Eric Adonis Hill, 21, were also revealed to have been charged with first-degree robbery and malicious assault for their alleged rolls in the incident.
Darryl Ray, 18, has also been charged with malicious assault and conspiracy to commit malicious assault for allegedly striking the victim and kicking him in the head.
Rylan Rock, 18, and Eli Marva, 22, were previously charged with malicious assault and conspiracy for their roles.
