DAVIS, W.Va. — More details have been released into what cause a skier to die at the Timberline Mountain resort in Tucker County on Wedneday.
The Tucker County Sheriff’s Department announced that investigators determined that the out-of-state guest hit a treet while skiing. Life-saving medical attention was given, but the guest was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies reported that the guest who passed away was an older man from out-of-state, no other information has been released.
An investigation into the cause of death is still ongoing pending an autopsy.
