FAIRMONT, W.Va. — A Fairmont woman is custody after she was allegedly high on methamphetamine at a Marion County business with two children in her care.
The West Virginia State Police arrested Christeanna Faith Gower, 35, of Fairmont, on Monday after troopers responded to an emergency call to Dairy Creme Corner in Fairmont after a report was recieved that someone was believed to be under the influence of drugs.
According to a criminal complaint, troopers were met by Gower and two juvenile children in her care when they arrived where she allegedly showed strong signs of impairment.
In the complaint, troopers stated Gower allegedly showed signs of meth impairment including hyperactivity and teeth grinding. Gower also allegedly admitted to being a regular meth user after she showed additional signs of impairment after failing a field sobriety tests.
Gower has been charged with child neglect, creating risk of injury. She is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
