FAIRMONT, W.Va. — A Fairmont man is custody for allegedly threatening to kill a victim at gunpoint in Marion County.

Deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department responded to an incident reported on Colfax Road in Fairmont on Monday where Logan Summers, 22, of Fairmont, allegedly pointed a handgun and made a threating statement towards a victim.

According to a criminal complaint, deputies spoke with the victim and learned that Summers “pointed a black in color handgun” at the victim and stated, “‘This is the day you’re going to die’.” A witness to the incident later confirmed the actions allegedly taken by Summers.

Deputies later located Summer and placed him into custody while recovering the weapon used to threaten the victim as part of a search.

Summers has been charged with wanton endangerment. He is being held in North Central Regional Jail.
