CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Four people were arrested after a fentanyl investigation was conducted by the West Virginia State Police in Clarksburg.
Gregory Shipley, 36, Iziah Hill, 30, Jordan Martin, 24, and Burgandy Abner, 33, were all taken into custody on drug charges in relation to an investigation that occurred over the course of a month at 127 Haymond Highway.
According to court documents, police executed a search warrant at the home Wednesday where they found Shipley allegedly in possession of one container of fentanyl and another container of a cutting agent.
Police also allegedly found scales, numerous small baggies, packaging materials, empty containers with a crystalline residue, smoking devices, burnt foils, a roll of foil and a phone all found within Shipley’s belongings.
Abner was arrested as part of the investigation after a confidential informant made separate purchases of fentanyl from her between February and March. Hill was arrested after similar purchases were made by a confidential informant at around the same time.
According to police, all three individuals made the sales outside the 127 Haymond Highway home.
Abner is charged with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, and Hill and Martin are each charged with one count of delivery of a controlled substance.
Shipley is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
All four individuals are currently in the North Central Regional Jail.
The West Virginia State Police conducted the investigation between February and March.
