Chase Thomas elected to Board of Directors for State Bancorp, Inc.

BRUCETON MILLS, W.Va. — State Bancorp, Inc. has announced the addition of Chase Thomas to the board of directors.

Thomas was elected to the board of the locally owned and managed financial services company that serves as the bank holding
company for Clear Mountain Bank.

Thomas has been with Clear Mountain Bank since 2013 and currently serves as its vice president of finance and analytics. Thomas has also served as controller, associate accountant, and business development and product specialist during his time with the bank.

Thomas also serves as a board member for the West Virginia Bankers Association Future Leaders Council.

Thomas is a native of Morgantown and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from West Virginia University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Carnegie Mellon University. Thomas is a board member for Mon Valley Habitat and serves as the general chairman for the 2025 Preston County Buckwheat Festival.
